Strata Data Acquisition & Control System
for Instrumental Stack Testing Methods and RATA’s

Cherokee Instruments, the leader in making data acquisition easy-to-use, announces STRATA, a Microsoft Windows™ -based data acquisition and analysis system designed specifically for RATA’s, Compliance Tests, and other instrumental stack testing methods. It reads data from up to 16 gas analyzers or other sensors, and logs the data and time stamped date to a printer and disk file in a text format that is compatible with spreadsheets and word processors.

Reports Corrected Data in Minutes
Get final results before you leave the job site. RATA or compliance test run averages are corrected for bias and transferred to an ExcelTM spreadsheet instantly after each run.

Saves you Time and Money
Cuts cost 30%! STRATATM does most of your reporting for you. Calibration and test run summaries are printed automatically or on demand after each test is completed. Printed data and summaries provide the report Appendix. You may even do the written part on a word processor while STRATA is running.

STRATA™ guides you through the Calibration Error Test and System Bias Checks, instantly performing the calculations and reporting errors. The tests may optionally be automated by allowing

STRATA™ to operate solenoid valves to admit the analyzers. Pass or fail for each analyzer is indicated as the analyzers stabilize.

STRATA™ corrects the results of each run for bias and instantly transmits them to the provided Excel TM spreadsheet using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) links, as each run is completed. By completing the report in a spreadsheet you have tremendous flexibility. A spreadsheet is provided, or you may use your own.

STRATA™ provides you with the flexibility to work the way you want. You may choose just the amount of automation you are comfortable with. You can quickly adapt to on-site difficulties such as an empty reference cylinder, printer failure, power failure, or problems with the plant CEMS.

STRATA can handle instrumental methods and engineering tests, including logging of data from all kinds of inputs.

STRATA™ runs in the Microsoft Windows environment, so it is compatible with most personal computer applications. You may use spreadsheets, word processors, and other applications while simultaneously running STRATA. A laptop or desktop PC is all that is required.

Specifications and Requirements
Performs 40CFR60 Appendix A, Methods 3A, 6C, 7E, 10, and 25A, for bias corrected run averages, Appendix B, Performance Specifications for RATA calculations, other instrumental methods.

Accepts inputs from up to 8 gas analyzers, expandable to 16, with full scale inputs of 10 mV to 10 Volts DC and 0-20 or 4-20 mA.
Controls up to 8 solenoid valves, expandable to 24.
Minimum System Requirements: 400MHz Pentium III, 256 MB RAM, color VGA screen, 10 MB hard disk space, CD-ROM drive, one parallel port, one USB (1.1 or higher). Supports Microsoft Windows 9x, NT, 2000 or XP.
Recommended: USB compatible printer, Microsoft Excel 5.0 or higher or other spreadsheet program that supports Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).

Dasylab Data Acquisition System
