Oak Ridge National Labs (ORNL) Adopts PEMS ProLogix 60
For Oak Ridge National Labs, history is almost a daily occurence. AMP-Cherokee is adding to their legacy after a yearlong transition from their traditional boiler CEM system to a Predictive Emissions Monitoring System (PEMS). With prior monitoring data available for characterization, AMP-Cherokee's PEMS ProLogix 60 has successfully equalled the CEMS in monitoring their criteria pollutants.
The ORNL installation represents the first PEMS accepted in the State of Tennessee for DOE facilties.
UPDATE 11/12/11: PEMS Pro-Logix 60 has been successfully transitioned onto ORNL's new biomass boiler system for uninterrupted monitoring service.
